The Ocean Data Project is a citizen-science marine unit that removes ghost gear, documents harbour-floor conditions, and produces publishable benthic datasets coastal municipalities can use for grants, tourism planning, and habitat reporting.
We are not commercial divers. We don't inspect, certify, or sign off on wharf or pier structures — structural work is referred to licensed commercial dive contractors.
Request to join — every diver is vetted against profile certifications before being added to the manifest.
Every contribution helps put divers in the water on the next harbour recovery. We publish progress as missions complete.
